Bhutan Cultural Tour 6Days

Day 1:
Arrive at Paro International Airport and receive a traditional welcome before driving to Thimphu. En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang and enjoy the scenic valley views. In the evening, explore Thimphu town or visit Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2:
Spend the day sightseeing in Thimphu, visiting the Buddha Dordenma statue, Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Arts & Crafts School), and the National Textile Museum. End the day with a visit to the local market to experience everyday Bhutanese life. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3:
Drive to Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 chortens and Himalayan views. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple, followed by a tour of the stunning Punakha Dzong and a walk across the suspension bridge. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 4:
Begin the day with a visit to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, offering peaceful surroundings and panoramic valley views. Later, drive back to Paro and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. Enjoy a relaxed evening in Paro. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5:
Explore Paro’s cultural highlights, including Rinpung Dzong, the traditional Nyamai Zampa wooden bridge, and the National Museum of Bhutan. Later, experience Bhutanese hospitality with a visit to a traditional farmhouse. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6:
Embark on an early morning hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan’s most famous landmark. After completing the hike, transfer to Paro International Airport for departure, concluding the journey with unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s culture and landscapes.
