Day 1:
Arrive at Paro International Airport and drive to Thimphu through the scenic Paro and Thimphu valleys. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed evening exploring Thimphu town or visiting Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 2:
Begin sightseeing in Thimphu with visits to the Buddha Dordenma statue, Memorial Chorten, Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Arts & Crafts School), Folk Heritage Museum, and local markets to experience Bhutanese daily life. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 3:
Travel from Thimphu to Punakha via the breathtaking Dochula Pass (3,100 m). Attend the Dochula Druk Wangyel Tshechu, a unique festival set against the Himalayan backdrop, featuring masked dances performed by the Royal Bhutan Army in honor of Bhutan’s kings. Continue to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 4:
Explore Punakha Valley with visits to Chimi Lhakhang (the Fertility Temple), the Punakha Suspension Bridge, and the peaceful countryside. Enjoy a relaxed day immersed in nature and culture. Overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 5:
Drive back to Paro, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. Evening at leisure in Paro town. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6:
Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The hike takes approximately 4–6 hours round trip and offers stunning views and spiritual ambiance. Return to Paro for a relaxed evening. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 7:
Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure, concluding the journey with unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s culture, festivals, monasteries, and Himalayan landscapes.
